Base Metals

Sterling Silver
Our silver collection is made from solid sterling silver, also known as 925 Silver. Unlike brass or other non-precious metal base items, products made from pure sterling silver are less likely to cause allergic reactions because it only contains 7.5% of metal-alloy, which are used to strengthen the silver. Sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time, simply clean them with a mixture of mild soap and lukewarm water or toothpaste to give them back the shine!

Plated 14k/ 18k Gold
Some of our silver items are plated with 14k or 18k gold. Kindly note that all plated items will eventually wore off over time and will reveal the solid sterling silver base. In such case, you may use silver cleaning solution to clean it and remove all the gold plating.

If you are looking for items that can stay gold/ rose gold permanently, solid 14k/ 18k gold is the best option.

Gold
Our gold collections are made from solid 14k or 18k gold. Contrasting its plated or filled counterparts, solid gold does not change color or appearance over time. You can wear them on a daily basis, even in showers, but like any precious metal, may scratch. You can also wipe your piece clean with the Aureole Cloth if it gets dirty!

Gold jewelry will have markings to indicate its purity: 24k/999, 18k/750, 14k/583 or 585. Sometimes these markings will begin or end with 'G' or 'Au' to symbolize gold.

Rhodium is a precious metal of the platinum family, resistant to corrosion which helps slow down the rate of tarnishing when it is plated onto sterling silver products.

Gemstones

Cubic zirconia is a synthesized crystal similar to a diamond with its brilliance and crystal clarity. It is a colorless, hard, and flawless mineral that can be made into different colors. Cubic zirconia is one of the best alternatives to diamond.

Freshwater cultured pearls are pearls that are farmed and created using freshwater mussels. These pearls are mostly round, and look similar to Akoya pearls when worn. They are the product of an elaborate process in which a single resilient mussel can be harvested many times, yielding several pearls at a time. Our round freshwater cultured pearls make an excellent and affordable gift of good quality pearls.
